Director, Motion, Video & Interactive Storytelling

Neo Security is looking for a Director of Motion, Video and Interactive Storytelling to define and lead the visual language that brings our brand to life across launch films, product storytelling, event content, and interactive experiences. This is a rare opportunity to build a world-class creative discipline inside a company that wants its brand to feel as sharp, distinctive, and technically impressive as its product. You'll set the creative bar, direct and produce high-profile work end-to-end, and build the motion, video, and interactive craft that makes Neo Security instantly recognizable. This is a senior, hands-on creative leadership role for someone who has directed and delivered highly visible work for major brands inside top advertising or design agencies, has deep personal mastery of both 2D and 3D motion craft, and is as comfortable directing a shoot or a studio as they are opening Blender and building the shot themselves. What You'll Do • Define and own the visual and motion language for Neo Security's brand across video, motion graphics, and interactive storytelling. • Conceive, direct, and produce high-profile creative work end-to-end — from concept and storyboard through final delivery — for launches, brand films, product marketing, events, and executive/keynote content. • Personally create and art-direct high-caliber 2D and 3D motion graphics using tools such as Blender, After Effects, Cinema 4D, and other leading-edge tools, setting a craft bar for any collaborators or vendors. • Design and build interactive and experiential storytelling formats (e.g., interactive web experiences, real-time/live event visuals, immersive installations) that go beyond traditional video. • Partner with Product Marketing, Brand, and Field Marketing to translate positioning and launch narratives into visually compelling, technically ambitious creative. • Source, brief, and manage relationships with external directors, animation studios, production companies, and freelance talent for projects that require additional capacity or specialized expertise. • Own the creative and production budget for motion and video, balancing ambition with efficient, well-managed execution. • Build and maintain a scalable motion design system (templates, style frames, asset libraries) so the brand looks consistently excellent across every touchpoint. • Stay on the leading edge of motion, 3D, and interactive tools and techniques, bringing new capabilities and formats into Neo Security's creative output before they become industry standard. • Present and defend creative direction to executive leadership, balancing strong creative point of view with business and brand objectives. Requirements • 10+ years of experience in motion design, video direction, or a closely related creative discipline. • Prior experience at a high-profile advertising agency, design studio, or production company, delivering highly visible campaigns or content for large, recognizable brands. • Expert-level craft in both 2D and 3D motion graphics, with deep hands-on proficiency in Blender and other leading 2D/3D and compositing tools (e.g., After Effects, Cinema 4D, Houdini, Nuke). • A strong, standout portfolio/demo reel demonstrating personal craft, creative direction, and range across motion, video, and interactive formats — required for consideration. • Proven experience directing and producing video and motion projects end-to-end, including managing external directors, studios, and production partners. • Experience designing or art-directing interactive or experiential storytelling formats beyond traditional linear video. • Excellent creative storytelling instincts, with the ability to translate brand and product narratives into visually distinctive, technically ambitious work. • Strong project management and budget management skills, comfortable owning timelines, vendors, and costs on high-stakes projects. • Comfortable working remotely and asynchronously with distributed marketing, brand, and leadership stakeholders. Nice to Haves • Experience building or leading a motion/creative function from the ground up inside a startup or scale-up. • Familiarity with real-time engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, TouchDesigner) for live event visuals or real-time rendered content. • Experience directing live-action shoots in addition to motion/animation work. • Experience creating content for keynote-style product launches or major industry conferences. • A recognized creative reputation in the industry (awards, notable campaigns, published/featured work). • Interest or experience in cybersecurity, technology, or other technical brand storytelling.
